We are looking for an experienced and qualified Kitchen Manager to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be in charge of all kitchen operations and personnel. Candidate will be a working manager.
Responsibilities
Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Construct or modify menus to stay current with food trends
Responsible for quality of dishes sent to customers
In charge of all inventory and ordering
Arrange for repairs when necessary
Remedy any problems or defects
Be fully in charge of hiring, training, managing and retaining kitchen staff
Oversee the work of subordinates
Estimate staff’s workload and compensations
Prepare daily work tasks for kitchen staff
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-oworkers
Skills
Proven experience as head chef/manager
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Credentials in health and safety training
