Put-in-Bay, on South Bass Island, is located in Lake Erie, and is a summer resort that sees tens of thousands of visitors per season. The Forge is among the most popular restaurants on the island, holding #1 status on TripAdvisor for multiple years. Formerly a blacksmith shop, it is now open for full service brunch, lunch and dinner. We are celebrating our 11th season and have completely remodeled our entire restaurant, including a brand new kitchen!
We are known for our full service espresso counter! The Forge is looking for full time baristas and Hosts to work with us for the 2024 season, beginning in May and ending at the end of October. While experience in a high volume environment is mandatory, we have an extensive training program to make sure that you are set up for a successful and rewarding season!
The applicant should be able to stand for at least 8 hours, always maintain respectful and welcoming service even when busy, have exceptional customer service skills, phone manners and be an expert multitasker. The pay is $12 an hour plus tips.
