The Supervisor will oversee daily operations on-site, conducting regular quality checks of employees' work, and ensuring that all cleaning tasks meet high standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to managing teams in the field. The Supervisor will serve as a key point of contact between the cleaning staff and management, ensuring clear communication and consistent quality.
Key Responsibilities
Training
● Lead and conduct training sessions for new and current employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
● Develop and update training materials and manuals to reflect the latest best practices and procedures.
● Monitor and evaluate the performance of employees during and after training sessions to ensure they meet the required standards.
Quality Checks
● Conduct regular quality checks of employees’ work to ensure that all cleaning tasks meet or exceed company standards.
● Use checklists and inspection forms to document the quality of work performed and identify areas for improvement.
● Provide immediate feedback and corrective actions to employees when quality issues are identified.
Employee Support
● Step in to perform cleaning tasks or other operational duties as needed to cover for absent employees or to meet client demands.
● Ensure seamless service delivery by maintaining flexibility and readiness to support the team in various capacities.
● Address and resolve any immediate issues or challenges that arise on-site.
Inventory Management
● Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment in closets and storage areas.
● Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure that supplies are ordered and replenished in a timely manner.
● Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and usage, and coordinate with the Operations Director for purchasing needs
Qualifications Experience:
● 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or service industry.
Education:
● High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills:
● Strong leadership and team management abilities.
● Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
● Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly on-site.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
● Ability to lift and move equipment or materials as needed.
