Seeking an experienced, reliable part time handyman that can complete various remodeling and maintenance tasks at our commercial and residential properties in Vermilion, Ohio. The handyman will have a variety of day to day responsibilities.
This is a 1099 subcontractor position. Must have liability insurance, workers comp Insurance (or be exempt)and fill out a W-9.

Duties and responsibilities
-perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
-alert management and tenants to schedule maintenance and remodeling
-update drywall and paint when a unit is turned over
-daily cleanup and property visits to assess condition of buildings and grounds, hvac settings and to ensure that empty units are ready for new tenants
-responds to emergency maintenance or safety calls when needed
-identify and report the need for major repairs
-physical activity (walking, bending, climbing, etc.) is required
-must be detail oriented with ability to manage time efficiently
-works well with a team and can take direction
-attends to necessary repairs and maintenance
-interacts and engages in a friendly manner with tenants
-flexibility is required in terms of working hours since tenant inquiries and issues may need to be addressed in the evenings or on weekends
-ability to complete a wide array of repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
-manages all aspects of the buildings maintenance
Qualifications
-high school diploma or GED required
-proficient with hand and power tools
-reliable transportation
-previous experience in a similar role
-knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
-worker comp insurance (or be exempt)
-liability insurance
