Full job description
BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for the guest’s first impression of the hotel by keeping the lobby and all public areas of the hotel clean, safe, and well maintained. Interacts and engages with the guests on a professional level as often as possible. Responds to guest calls for delivery of rollaway beds, refrigerators, microwaves, linen, pillows and various other guest needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Interact and engage with guests at all times and respond to guest calls.
2. Clean lobby, enclosed sitting area, and lobby restrooms.
3. Vacuum and edge all floors daily. Wash walls and baseboards.
4. Clean and maintain elevators and public restrooms.
5. Report safety hazards: lights out, carpet tears, bathroom working order, etc. to management.
6. Clean and maintain all entrances.
7. Remove and deliver microwave, Refrigerators, rollaway beds and linen as needed.
8. Respond and comply with all guest requests, issues and problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
9. Clean and maintain sitting areas, public area furniture, and dust picture frames as needed.
10. Clean and maintain employee restrooms as needed.
11. Clean executive offices and behind the front desk daily as needed.
12. Clean pool area, fitness center, business center, and gift shop.
Skills and Abilities:
· Must have organizational skills to maintain public areas.
· Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in language understood by Guests and management.
· Must be able to verbally communicate problems.
· Must possess skill to follow through for positive results.
· Must comprehend directions and assignments from management.
