Job Description
We are a condominium high rise on Lakewood’s Gold Coast and are looking to have a new Housekeeping Associate join our team. This position is responsible for helping to maintain the cleanliness, protect the appearance of our building, and carry out various cleaning projects throughout the property. This position reports directly to the Lead Housekeeper. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude focused on the buildings upkeep. They should be able to cover a large space and have a keen eye for detail. The building is currently undergoing on complete renovation of the hallways and common areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing various cleaning tasks. Duties include but are not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant, wash toilets, sinks, mirrors, and windows. Light laundry may be required.
Other tasks may include helping with seasonal pool area and rooftop setup and breakdown and watering potted plants.
Skills and Qualifications:
Good communication skills
Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
Ability to lift and move at least 30 pounds
Some knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment which may require working some holidays, weekends.
Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills

Schedule:
40 hours per week
11am – 7pm daily with some possible weekend availability at times, but rare.
Compensation:
Starting at $14 - $15 per hour + performance bonuses and annual increase
Experience:
Minimum 1 year cleaning experience preferred
