Job Description:
Equine facility looking for a dedicated and hardworking Stable Hand to join our team. We take pride in maintaining a top-quality facility for our horses and riders.
Responsibilities:
-Daily feeding, watering, and general care of horses
-Mucking stalls and maintaining clean barn areas
-Turning horses in and out of pastures/paddocks
-Cleaning and filling water buckets and troughs
-Grooming, blanketing, and handling horses as needed
-General property maintenance, such as sweeping, raking, and light repairs
-Assisting with vet and farrier visits
-Other barn duties as needed.
Requirements:
-Prior experience handling horses safely and confidently
-Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Willingness to work in all weather conditions
-Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
