Busy manufacturing company looking for dynamic and hard-working individual for responsibilities in machine shop, manual machining on engine and turret lathes and some CNC lathe. Additional responsibilities include assembling and testing hydraulic cylinders.
Full-time or part-time available
Will train students in electrical or industrial vocation programs at entry-level starting rate.
Job Purpose:
Making parts and hydraulic cylinders for broad line of material handling equipment.
Job Description:
Traditional machining on engine and turret lathes, some milling work. Programming and running CNC toolroom lathe.
Duties:
Plans work assignment by studying drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
Sets-up equipment by setting adjustments to match specifications; testing tolerances.
Fabricates/machines parts by operating equipment; using handtools.
Verifies parts by using precision measuring instruments; testing production routine.
Documents equipment changes by completing records.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
