Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Saw Operator in Strongsville, OH!
A well-established industry leader in carbon, stainless, aluminum, and alloy bar products is looking for a skilled Saw Operator to join their production team! This is your chance to step into a long-term role with a company known for stability, advancement opportunities, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Pay rate is $21-23/ hour (based on experience and capabilities). Schedule is 2nd shift, 3:00pm – 11:30pm (OT as needed based on production levels). Will train for the first two weeks on first shift. This is a contract-to-Hire – 90 Days.
Job Duties:
- Operate large-bar saws to cut metal with precision and efficiency
- Pick and stage raw material for order fulfillment
- Break down bulk bundles for custom orders
- Package and label materials to customer specifications
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down or side loader) and overhead cranes – training and certification provided
- Enter job details and confirmations in a computer-based system (SAP or similar)
- Maintain productivity while ensuring all finished goods meet quality standard
- Support team goals with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience operating saws or working in a similar industrial or manufacturing role preferred
- Comfortable using measuring tools and reading job specifications
- Basic computer and math skills
- Reliable attendance and a team-player attitude
- Physical ability to lift, move, and operate machinery safely
- MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift!
- Willingness to undergo a physical exam for hearing, vision, and mobility as part of onboarding
