As a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator at Northern Chemical Blending Corp, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of materials and products. Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials and products.
Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and proper documentation.
Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Assist with the blending and packaging of chemical products as needed.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies promptly.
Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience operating forklifts.
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Basic math and computer skills for inventory and shipping tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Preferred Skills
Experience handling chemicals or working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic work setting.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
