Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Worker to maintain and enhance the quality of our properties. This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep tasks to keep the property in top condition. Ideal candidates have experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping work.
This role is crucial in ensuring properties are safe, functional, and comfortable for occupants, making it essential for someone who can manage a wide range of maintenance tasks independently
Job Type: Part-time 50%-100% (dynamic)
Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance and Repairs: Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, ensuring all systems are working correctly and meet safety standards.
- Building Upkeep: Conduct regular inspections of property grounds, building facilities, and equipment. Address issues like broken windows, leaky faucets, gutters issues, faulty light, fixtures, etc.
- Landscaping and Groundskeeping: Maintain exterior property areas, including mowing lawns and trimming trees.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement scheduled maintenance for HVAC, lighting, and other building systems to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in property maintenance or similar role.
- Skills: Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry skills; ability to use hand and power tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Certification: Relevant certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work – an advantage.
