Seeking property manager for midsize apartment complex and portfolio of single family homes in Lorain, Ohio. Candidate must demonstrate keen time management, organization, and communication skills. Ideally, candidate will also possess a proactive, “teamwork” mentality and interest in growth of the company.
GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Point of contact for tenants; answer office phone, follow up to messages, respond to emails; post notices; representative in Court for evictions; representative for rental assistance organizations
Ensure all tenants pay rent on the 1st of each month; charge late fees; collect on past due balances
Coordinate incoming maintenance requests with maintenance director, public contractors
Monitor upcoming vacancies; screen for prospective tenants; maintain “full” status, create wait list for quality leads; tour units with prospective tenants; coordinate lease signings
Ensure grounds are clean; watch and coordinate for building repairs and improvements
List available units on websites; collect positive reviews for online presence
Run reports; provide breakdown of daily activities of premises and work completed
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of two years experience in a management position
Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office, knowledge of Buildium a plus
Reliable transportation and phone
Pay based on experience; 1099 position only
