Job Title: Certified Electrician – Residential and Commercial Electrical Work

Salary: $40+ per hr. (variable based on experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and certified electrician to join our team for both residential and commercial electrical work. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of settings, ensuring all work is done safely, efficiently, and to code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and wiring for residential and commercial properties
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Install electrical fixtures, panels, and sub-panels
- Ensure electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and standards
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
- Perform routine maintenance and service tasks on electrical systems
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members
Qualifications:
- Certified electrician (Ohio certification/license)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in both residential and/or commercial electrical work
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience with electrical installations in various environments (homes, offices, industrial facilities)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with installing residential and commercial electrical panels and meter bases.
- Familiarity with solar panel installation and renewable energy systems
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems (e.g., security, audio/visual, data networking)
