Cleveland Vicon’s ideal Installer candidates are mechanically inclined and willing to learn all aspects of commercial door and hardware installation and maintenance. Work as a part of a team and sometimes on your own at customer job sites and in our warehouse.
Different technical aspects of the role include welding, grinding, cutting (metal and wood), attaching hardware to the doors, installing frames, and hanging wood and metal doors. The candidate must also be able to make calls at our customer’s facilities and businesses in a company van.
2 years of experience in carpentry or related construction field is preferred, but not required if you think this sounds like the perfect fit for you and are looking for a long-term position. We want to meet you!
Tools needed for work will be supplied by us.
Requirements:
The position requires heavy lifting of materials. Frequent to constant standing, lifting, handling, stooping, walking, carrying, kneeling, seeing, punching, bending and reaching. Ability to safely lift 100 pounds. Must be able to read and understand work orders with limited supervision. Must pass a security background check, pre-employment drug screen and fitness test.
