We specialize in commercial and residential building repairs. We typically perform services such as replacing ceiling tiles, replacing floor tiles, patching walls, repairing plumbing leaks/clogs, changing light bulbs/ballasts, diagnosing electrical problems, repairing Energy Management Systems (EMS), water diversion, replacing doors, repairing the building after a vehicle impacts it, repairing masonry and wooden trash enclosures, tuckpointing, carpentry such as fence, garage, and porch repairs, and pest exclusion.
We are currently hiring handymen/women (technicians) skilled in a wide variety of trades such as carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, flooring, electrical and masonry. We do not expect all of our technicians to be skilled in every trade, but handymen should possess at least entry level skills in at least 3 trades and ideally, journeyman level skills in 1 trade. You do not possess these skills but want to learn? No problem, we offer on-the-job training. If you have handyman skills outside those listed, we are interested in hearing what they are and may be able to take on jobs in line with your skill set.
Applicants should be able to work independently and as part of a team, problem solve, use a smartphone, complete required paperwork for each job and read a tape measure. Having your own tools is a plus, but general hand tools can be provided and specialty tools are generally provided by us.
Driver's license and clean driving record required.
Clean background is a plus, but felonies do not necessarily disqualify a candidate. Must be able to pass a drug test. Good personal hygiene is required.
Most workdays are M-F 9-5:30 but on occasions, evenings, overnights, and weekends are required.
