We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual for a full-time subcontractor position with a focus on kitchen and bathroom remodels in Lyndhurst, Ohio, and surrounding areas. This is a Monday-through-Friday, nine-to-five role, with some flexibility for schedule variability. There is potential for this role to transition into an employee position if contracting goes well, but this is not guaranteed.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
A minimum of three to six years of professional experience in home remodeling.
Leadership and mentoring qualities, with the ability to guide less experienced team members.
Expertise in at least one craft (e.g., carpentry, tile work) and a range of medium to basic-level skills across other trades.
Possession of a reliable vehicle (preferably a pickup truck or similar) to transport equipment.
Additional Preferences:
Candidates should have their own tools or be prepared to provide them.
General liability insurance coverage is required. Candidates who already hold a valid general liability insurance policy are strongly preferred. However, if you do not have such a policy, the hiring manager is open to collaborating with you to obtain coverage if you are a highly qualified candidate.
