Quality Control Manager

A National Federal Contractor, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team in the Twinsburg, Ohio area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team committed to delivering the highest degree of value to our clients through innovative problem solving and the application of decades of collective expertise. Our company has over 20 years of experience working with the United States government in various locations around the globe. The qualified candidate will ensure projects meet all quality control standards.

Responsibilities:

Create and enforce site-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans, procedures, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

Perform daily inspections of work, materials, and processes, as well as coordinate laboratory and field testing

Maintain comprehensive records, including test reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and as-built documentation for project handover

Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Client Representatives on quality matters

Verify adherence to project specifications, codes, standards, and regulations

Identify, document, and drive the resolution of quality-related issues and non-conformance

Prepare quality reports, presentations, and performance metrics for management

Provide quality-related training to site personnel

Participate in and coordinate internal and external quality audits

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred but not required

Experience in construction, preferred but not required

USACE CQM certification and OSHA 30 training or willingness to obtain is required

Must be able to lift at least 40lbs. and work outdoors, as needed

Willingness to travel to company offices, client sites, and/or other project locations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and engineering and inspection-related software

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as a valuable team member

Must be able to pass background and drug screenings
