Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Service Technician with experience in specialty work with slate, tile, and copper as well as residential roofing. The Service Technician will typically work in 2-man teams on a variety of roof repairs and tune ups.
This full-time position offers a variety of tasks allowing you to work on diverse roofing projects.
Compensation available as piecework and/or hourly pay. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, organized, and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain residential roofs, including slate, tile, copper, and shingle systems
Perform roof inspections, troubleshooting, and repair
Handle exterior woodworking tasks, such as skylight installation and repairs
Maintain job site cleanliness and safety, adhering to OSHA regulations
Operate light equipment (manlifts, forklifts, etc.), and follow all safety protocols
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality craftsmanship
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in residential roofing preferred
Proficiency in shingle installation and repair
Skills with specialty materials such as slate, tile, shake, and copper
Experience with exterior woodworking and skylight installation a plus
Valid driver’s license with an insurable record (preferred)
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude
Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
