Job Title: Business Analyst IT III (Senior) JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Enterprise Analytics department is growing, and we're looking for an outstanding candidate to join our Digital Analytics team. The primary focus of the Senior Decision Analyst is to optimize current and future digital investments across Marketing by following a test and learn framework.
As part of this role, a decision analyst will mine, report, and analyze both internal and external data to determine campaign performance across channels. They will evaluate business operations using statistical and financial methods to ensure that testing, learning, and production goals are met, as well as providing insights about our customers and prospects to drive business strategy. These analysts work collaboratively with our internal partners to develop innovative, data-driven growth strategies across the entire bank, including Consumer Deposits, Small Business, Home Lending, Credit Card, Auto, and Commercial. Our goal is to be the Best performing Regional Bank in America, and we need data and analytics to meet that goal.
Key Responsibilities

  • Mine Client's digital data across multiple platforms to create customer insights (web traffic, search engine, third party)
  • Track online marketing trends, report on campaign performance, present actional insights to inform and develop digital marketing strategies
  • Create dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign and website performance reports.
  • Apply machine learning, data mining, and visualization techniques to internal and external data to make accurate and actionable analyses in a timely fashion.
  • Plan and execute multiple analytic projects at once in response to business needs.
  • Synthesize findings into senior level presentations that convey insights and recommendations through compelling storytelling, while maintaining a balance between the big picture and mastery of details.
  • Champion corporate policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Work with management to develop and apply effective risk management processes and controls.
Basic Requirements
  • Master's degree in Analytics, Economics, Decision Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data mining, programming, or statistical analysis.
Preferred Skills and Characteristics
  • PhD degree in Analytics, Economics, Decision Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working with data mining models, structures, theories, principles, and practices, including machine learning, statistics, and text mining techniques.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing across search engine marketing, social, display, and programmatic platforms
  • Experience performing advanced digital analytics such as multi-touch attribution, reading cross-channel digital campaigns, media mix modeling, and multivariate testing.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data mining tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience with SQL queries of large databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Teradata, and Hadoop.
  • Experience developing and applying statistical methods in a corporate environment through applications such as R or Python.
  • Experience in similar or directly related functions, preferably in financial services, retail, healthcare, telecommunications, entertainment, or other industries with strong direct marketing, digital marketing, risk management, or experimental design practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Progressive thinker and problem solver, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity/complexity.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines.
  • Experience working in a consumer-centric company and with teams of technical professionals in a cross-functional environment.
