Funeral Home Attendant/Associate-
An individual available in the funeral home to greet visitors as well as direct them to necessary appointment offices, funeral service gatherings and rest areas. This person may assist funeral directors on funeral services which may include driving company cars. A funeral home “Attendant” may also assist in post funeral clean up of facilities and equipment. If mutually considered qualified and agreeable through experience as an “Attendant” a funeral home “Associate” may participate in assisting a funeral director/embalmer with the handling and care of post mortem remains and cremated remains caskets and urns.
“Attendants” will maintain a part-time status whereas those deemed able and willing to accept the additional roles of an “Associate” may be invited to a full-time position and benefits commensurate with the additional responsibilities.
