Let us be the best place you'll ever work. A Brief OverviewThe role will apply technical practices and concepts beyond mere detailed rules/instructions to assist the Accounting Director with financial reporting, GL accounting and various related activities. This is the second level of a multi-level career development class series.What You’ll DoPerforms regular reconciliation, utilizing accrual/payment information from Oracle and A/P to determine accuracy.Assist with external audit requestsPrepares/distributes various standard and non-standard reports to various levels of management.Prepares journal entries.Prepares a variety of standard/non-standard financial documents and reports according to a regular schedule.Monitors budgets on a monthly basis to ensure expenditures are recorded accurately, within range.Assists other departments and the field by answering accounting related questions.Performs detailed research/problem analysis and recommends viable solutions.Provides assistance with the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting process.Analyzes the effects of transactions upon account relationships, and evaluates alternative means of treating transactions.Assists with month-end coordination of Oracle system process completion.Other job duties as assigned.What You’ll NeedBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or equivalent of 4 years experience3-5 years directly related experience with accounting and financial reporting requiredCPA designation optionalSuperior analytical skills, combined with business judgment and ability to communicate with a management teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, organized, detail-oriented, and throughTeam player with a positive attitude to work with teamsAdvanced experience with Microsoft ExcelExperience operating financial based systems (Oracle a plus)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adjust to fast-paced work environment Our people are passionate about what they do, the product they sell, and the customers they serve.
