Description Robert Half is seeking a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist to support an organization in the Pharmaceutical Clinical Trials industry for a three-month contract.Position Overview:Are you detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Remote Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's team and play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes. This role is ideal for someone who excels at high-volume data entry, possesses strong attention to detail, and is eager to grow their career in accounting.Responsibilities:
Review and accurate coding of invoices into the NetSuite accounts receivable system.
Verify and reconcile discrepancies in vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
Maintain customer accounts, including communication with vendors regarding invoice inquiries and discrepancies.
Assist in month-end closing activities, such as reconciling accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve accounts receivable processes.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work effectively during standard business hours, typically 8:00am - 4:30pm Mountain Time.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with NetSuite or other accounting software and ERP systems is a plus.
Prior experience in accounts receivable or related field preferred but not required.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is preferred.
