Apply for JobOur client is a trusted partner in the Biotechnology industry and is seeking an Animal Technician to join their hardworking team!Located in North Columbus, OHPay Rate : $25/hrShift: 1st shiftPrimary Responsibilities Include:
Multiple injection techniques including IV, IM, IP, and SQ
Assist in monitoring, observing, and performing treatments within the animal facility
Following and drafting standard operating procedures for techniques and procedures per GLP guidelines
Communicating regularly with Lead study technicians, vivarium manager and vivarium team
Maintaining appropriate record keeping per GLP and animal welfare guidelines
Operate equipment and use supplies according to safety guidelines.
Perform all other related duties as assigned
Work on rotating weekend/holiday schedule
Desired Skills and Education:
Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline
LAT, LATG certification preferred or achieve certification status within 6 months
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience working with rodents
Must avoid contact with rodent species outside of work.
