What You'll DoAs a Client Relationship Consultant , you will partner closely with our Sales team and Broker partners to:

Deliver upon a strategic relationship plan that includes quarterly/annual goals

Provide expert renewal analysis

Deliver outstanding service and selling of new lines of business

This opportunity plays an important role in delivering profitable revenue growth of an assigned block of in-force group business by developing and implementing customized strategies. This will be done through strategy discussions with the sales representatives and brokers.In addition, individuals in this role will be seen as industry experts and consultants in group benefits in general. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred).

Life and Health Insurance Licenses required for all states in which business will be conducted or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment required. Active life/health license preferred.

Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.

Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.

Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred.

Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.

Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

Occasional travel required, including overnight stays for face-to-face interaction with customers and brokers.

Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$60000 - $96800 / yearTime Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.Pension EligibleYesAdditional InformationLocationThis role can be located anywhere within the Great Lakes region (IN, MI, OH, KY, WV). This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Cincinnati).
