DescriptionSchedule: Wed 1pm - 7:30pm, Thurs-Saturday 7:00am - 7:30pmDetailed Job Description:The Computer Operator provides first level support and coordinates with colleagues for system batch to be carried out accurately as well as system problems resolved within Service Level Agreements. Duties include (but not limited to): Monitoring the IBM z/OS mainframe environment Monitoring mainframe and distributed batch scheduling Identifying and resolving general JCL, job processing, or scheduling problems Performing temporary modifications to production requests Notifying and/or escalating problems to appropriate technical specialists when required Performing initial program loads (IPL) Providing support during business continuity exercises Analyzing system data to identify and recover from system errors or bottlenecksBasic Qualifications: High School Diploma Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Office product and Sharepoint experiencePreferred Qualifications: Associates or bachelor's degree desired Ticketing system experience ServiceNow preferred Strong verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills Direct customer contact problem solving skills Computer Operator experience: IBM z/OS, JES2, TSO, SAR, Auto Operator, JCL and mainframe operating system software Mainframe or distributed production scheduling/restart package experience - ZEKE/ZEBB/Zena preferred Banking knowledgeEEO/AA Employer/Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentityTobacco-Free Hiring Practice: Visit Huntington's Career Web Site for more details.Agency Statement: Huntington does not accept solicitation from Third Party Recruiters for any positionWelcome to Huntington!At Huntington, we see it as our responsibility to look out for people.
