This company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join their Columbus, IN operations. This Controls Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and driving innovation in their aluminum wheel production.Responsibilities

Design, program, and oversee the installation of machines and/or processes.

Manage project timelines and budgets.

Build, program, or purchase necessary components.

Plan project details and communicate with other departments to ensure success.

Support robotics plant-wide.

Essential Skills

An Associate's Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or robotics engineering.

4+ years of relevant automation experience.

Proficiency with Fanuc robots (R2000, R1000, 30iA).

Proficiency with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Experience with Robot Tooling, Plant Layout, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley
