Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst to join our team in the Plastics Manufacturing industry, located in Columbus, Ohio. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be the first line of support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient troubleshooting of technical issues and proactive assistance.Responsibilities: Provide technical support to internal and external clients through phone, email, or chat. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, encompassing operating systems, applications, and network problems. Log, track, and manage support tickets using our help desk system, ensuring issues are prioritized and escalated as necessary for timely resolution. Deliver excellent customer service, understanding user needs, and providing clear instructions and solutions while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Create, maintain and update knowledge base articles and documentation for common issues and solutions. Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, performing routine system checks and updates as needed. Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to resolve complex issues and implement improvements, sharing knowledge and best practices with team members. Provide basic training and support to end-users on software applications and IT systems, assisting in onboarding new employees with IT-related tasks. Utilize a range of skills including Android Development, Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Database Management, EO/IR systems, Active Directory, Apple Devices, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Linux, Mac OS, and Windows Desktop Operating System. Requirements Proficiency in Android Development is required. Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is required. Experience with Citrix Technologies is essential. Must have knowledge in Database management. Understanding of EO/IR systems is a necessity. Ability to manage Active Directory is required. Proficiency in handling Apple Devices is essential. Must possess knowledge about Computer Hardware. Experience in Configuration Management is required. Ability to handle Deployments is a necessity. Proficiency in Linux operating systems is required. Familiarity with Mac OS is a necessity. Experience with Windows Desktop Operating System is required. Knowledge of Windows Infrastructure is essential. Understanding of Windows services is a necessity. Basic Network Troubleshooting skills are required. Ability to manage Networks is essential.
