PCP Level: 3Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. | Rotating Days | C ShiftResponsibilities
Troubleshoot equipment including dismantling and reassembling of parts.
Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning.
Work as one of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements and clean room area and equipment cleaning / sanitizing.
Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks.
Must cross-train and be able to perform a variety of jobs within the Business Unit listed below.
The combination of these jobs is based on the requirements of the Business Unit.
Must be flexible, team oriented, and adaptable as conditions change.
Must be able to operate all respectiveequipment at a rate equal or above established standards while maintaining all quality and GMP standards.
May be required to perform SAP data entries and to run lines through breaks.
Assignments may be in any of the following areas:
Print/Assembly Operator - for either the 820’s, 830’s & 860’s
Package Operator – for either the 820’s, 830’s & 860’s
QC Inspector - for the 820’s, 830’s, 860’s and/or molding
Mezzanine Utility operator – entire department
Deliverables:
Informal leader for respective line.
Provides training of new associates.
Communicate on a daily basis with prior and post shift set-up operators regarding technical and other pertinent issues.
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance for respective line.
Help maintain inventory of spare parts, both fabricated and commercial for respective line.
Must be competent in the use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and able to read blueprints.
Troubleshoot machines for recurring problems and identify causes and repair as needed or work with EMT.
Propose design changes to improve cost, efficiency, quality, and productivity of equipment while maintaining change control.
Keep equipment supplied with components and material necessary to sustain continuous operation, maintain equipment logs.
Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance, including final QC lot acceptance rate.
Notify QC Representative of quality problems.
Operate equipment and process functions, product inspections; perform process tests and record inspection data as required.
Maintain clean and organized work area.
Perform all product changeovers, machine lubrications, sanitization and cleaning.
Assist technical staff on machine modifications/testing, equipment validations.
May be required to correct problems during off shifts and on a call-in basis.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have high school diploma/GED
Ability to speak, read & write English
