RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a large financial services client that is building multiple Java Spring Boot Scrum Teams in Plano (TX), Wilmington (DE) and Columbus (OH). This posting is for Junior (2+ years of experience), Intermediate (4+ years of experience) and Senior (8+ years of experience) Java Spring Developers. These roles are designed to be an opportunity for quick fulltime employment with the client.
Responsibilities:
Core Java Developer will develop and support batch and web applications within mature technology environments
Document detailed application specifications; Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules
Develop and enhance software application modules
In this role, the Core Java Developer will participate in standard development life cycle methodologies
Contribute to the technical codebase including any required documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
Solid Core Java and design techniques are a must (all hires) as well as experience working across large (intermediate & senior hires) environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects
Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset - Spring (Jr), Spring Boot (Intm & Sr), Testing, Automation, etc.
May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks
Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill
Understanding (Jr) and/or experience of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business
