As a Lead Database Administrator, you will be part of the Data Platform Services team supporting various teams across the enterprise. Provide technical leadership for databases on Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Azure Cloud Services (ADF, Databricks, ADLS, Cosmos DB), and replication tools (SQDR, Simplement, HVR).
Plan, design, and build High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for enterprise data platforms.
Support the future direction of modern data platforms and migrations.
Drive adherence to service management support processes (ITSM, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, RCA processes).
Monitor performance issues across all production and non-production databases; implement performance monitoring tools.
What's Needed?
8+ years in Information Technology
8+ years of DBA experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
3+ years of DBA experience with NoSQL databases (Document, Graph, Timeseries)
3+ years of experience with cloud databases (SQL MI, Cosmos DB, Databricks) including performance implications
3+ years supporting BI and Analytics workloads (Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Azure Databricks)
