L.L.Bean is searching for a Retail Assistant Store Manager of Product & Visual Merchandising for our Easton Town Center store located in Columbus, OH. This highly important role, in partnership with the Associate Store Manager of Visual Merchandising, b rings the L.L.Bean brand to life through compelling merchandise presentations and visual execution across the entire store. This Assistant Store Manager of Product & Visual Merchandising drives department performance through quick reaction to business performance, ensures delivery of the legendary L.L.Bean customer experience for an outdoor lifestyle concept retail store, and promotes the company's core values of Outdoor Heritage, Integrity, Service, Respect, Perseverance and Safe and Healthy Living to ensure the integrity of the brand, culture and mission of L.L.Bean is upheld at all times.

Store Sales Volume: $4-6M

Responsibilities:

Delivers legendary world-class customer service.

Responsible for operational execution in the stores following known SOPs

With the Assoc SM leads price changes, replenishment, floor-set changes and visual, promotional and marketing initiatives.

Helps to oversee execution of multi-channel services ensuring execution that delivers top notch customer service

Recommends hiring plans and strategies.

Helps recruit, hire, train and develop talent for the stores

Addresses employee issues/conflicts and provides feedback, coaching and developmental opportunities.

Leads and executes compliance with Loss Prevention policies and procedures.

Plans, maps, supervises and executes floor sets

Teaches and coaches brand standards

Conducts constant merchandise reporting and utilizes their deep product and business acumen to drive and assist merchandising decisions

Executes visual displays, windows, marketing materials, signage and promo execution

Those in a leadership role are also expected to model safe behaviors, evaluate risk, and ensure that risks are reduced to acceptable levels.Education Level: 2-Year Associates DegreeYears of Experience: 3+Skills and Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent with at least 3+ years of retail management experience in relevant traffic and volume Retailer

Visual merchandising leadership experience with an apparel retailer is a must

Experience in all aspects of Retail leadership, service, operations and visual merchandising

Strong business acumen with the ability to achieve sales and service goals

Proven leadership skills with the capability of developing and motivating employees

Established time management and organizational skills

Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Capable of building strong partnerships and working collaboratively to achieve goals

Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, motivation and a positive attitude

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
