Description We are seeking a Risk Manager: IV (Lead) to join our dynamic team. Located in Columbus, Ohio, the selected individual will be a part of our risk management team, focusing on the area of Mainframe RACF. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and plays a crucial role in our risk strategy and compliance framework. Responsibilities: Carry out proactive testing/validation tasks, escalating appropriately and using repeatable templates. Manage operational and regulatory risk strategy programs, keeping them updated in line with new and revised compliance frameworks. Work with business segment management, 1L risk, and Internal Audit to provide credible challenge in the Mainframe RACF space. Develop and present regular testing progress updates to segment leadership teams. Collaborate closely with Delivery and Risk Partners to stay informed on active work and progress against the schedule. Ensure complete and accurate testing results. Evaluate the appropriateness and adequacy of security associated with Mainframe RACF security groups and profiles. Communicate security and control requirements to project teams and provide both oversight and support to ensure these requirements are met, escalating concerns as necessary. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including the Technology Segment Risk Officer, the broader Technology Risk team, the IT Project Management Office, Enterprise Architecture, and Information Security.Requirements Requirements/Qualifications:Experience:5+ years of experience working with RACF in a z/OS mainframe environment.Strong experience in risk management and security within a mainframe environment, particularly related to RACF access controls and policies.Demonstrated expertise in conducting security audits, risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions.Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare) with a focus on compliance.Technical Skills:Deep understanding of RACF architecture, security policies, and risk management techniques.Expertise in analyzing and managing security vulnerabilities, risks, and incidents related to mainframe access controls.Proficiency with RACF administration tools and utilities for managing users, groups, and resources.Knowledge of IBM z/OS environment and related mainframe security tools.Strong skills in log analysis, security monitoring, and reporting.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
