For more information, visit www.ethicon.comThe Sr. Manager, Education, Monarch, leads a team and will be primarily responsible for continued success in execution of the Monarch training pathway for sales representatives and Health Care Professionals. This leader is accountable for developing and implementing the strategy for the execution of commercial education programs, physician training, and faculty-led professional education programs. This includes but is not limited to collaborating with sales and marketing team members to develop a detailed Education plan aligned to the commercial strategy that includes capacity, budgets, equipment, and faculty management. The Sr. Manager is also responsible for the development of their team members and is expected to be a positive role model while conducting business.Key job responsibilities

Lead the execution of Education programs to ensure that programs operate efficiently, effectively, and compliantly. Lead, monitor and make appropriate changes based on application of performance metrics.

Partner closely with Field Clinical Engineering to ensure capacity and smooth execution of field-based training programs.

Ensure Education programs are successfully managed in a dynamic environment by coordinating personnel, calendars, and internal and external training events.

Manage Education execution budget and ensure responsible spend.

Develop strategic relationships with key Monarch faculty, societies, and institutions.

Work closely with cross-functional team members (sales, marketing, service, healthcare compliance, etc.) to provide an outstanding customer experience to prospective, new, and current customers.

Acquire and translate customer insights to the broader organization as it relates to unmet needs and future educational offerings.

Benchmark other MedTech and Robotics businesses to understand their learning pathways and customer journey.

Provide support and subject matter expertise from within the team in the development of new training content and technologies.

Create plan to ensure Education team receives ongoing education on the product and procedure.

Consistently demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Confidently interact with hospital personnel in all relevant departments, including but not limited to physicians, executives and both clinical and non-clinical staff members.

Onboarding new hires and providing coaching and development opportunities for direct reports.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $177,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Bachelor’s Degree

Medical Device or Medical Technology experience

Strong clinical expertise or training experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial roles (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Professional Education, Commercial Education).

Strong influence management and communications skills

Ability to understand business strategy and translate it into education solutions and execution that support the company’s business goals

Ability to collaborate across functions and job levels

Preferred:

A Master’s Degree in business or healthcare

Experience facilitating education events with sales, physicians, and/or hospital employees

People management and coaching experience

Commercial experience with complex technologies, capital equipment, or robotics

Other:

This position may require up to 50% travel including some weekends.
