2nd Shift: Saturday-Tuesday 1pm-12am; On-site only on Tuesday This position qualifies for an additional $1.75/hour shift differential! Job duties( denotes an “essential function”)Perform work in prooing according to established policies and proceduresIdentify and correct spelling, grammar, and verbiage errors in complex legal documentsCheck corrected proofs of legal documents against mark-up for comparison and quality assuranceDetect formatting and compositional errors in documents, work independently or with appropriate colleagues to correct, as requiredOversee prooing assignments, coordinates workflow or intake of prooing assignments within teamTroubleshoot more complex requests, along with software or hardware problemsUtilize appropriate logs and/or tracking software for all assigned workMeet contracted deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering all workCommunicate with peers, supervisor or client on job or deadline issuesHelp foster a proactive environment of continuous service enhancement and relationship building with the clientHandle sensitive and/or confidential documents and informationPerform Quality Assurance on work of othersTrain more junior staff membersAssist Document Services or peer teams with document production and preparation, as neededComplete other tasks and assignments as assigned by managementInteract with clients in person, over the phone or electronicallyAdhere to Williams Lea policies in addition to client site policiesUse equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner
