Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an adept Help Desk Analyst I in Columbus, Ohio. This role requires a strong customer service orientation and technical acumen. You will be instrumental in providing assistance to colleagues and resolving customer service inquiries. Your responsibilities will include trouble-shooting, root cause analysis, and other solutions-based tasks.Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding customer service and build relationships with customers daily Provide support for colleagues' requests including answering questions, providing advice, and troubleshooting Work with Engineering colleagues and other internal and external groups to understand Service Desk requirements and needs Maintain up to date knowledge on technology and procedures Compile documentation necessary for effectively fulfilling customer needs Document all notes required in the appropriate systems to educate and prepare staff for success Respond to email messages for customers seeking help Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved Drive initiatives that improve the service desk Partner with internal support groups in providing the best service to our colleagues Requirements Proven experience in a Help Desk Analyst I or similar role Strong customer service skills and commitment to providing exceptional service Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal Experience in documentation and maintenance of procedures Proficiency in Microsoft software and Microsoft Office Suites Experience in Materials Handling Knowledge of workstation support and the ability to troubleshoot issues Familiarity with internet technologies and networking principles Basic understanding of engineering concepts Ability to handle financial notes and related tasks Experience in working on a Service Desk or similar environment Knowledge of Telecom systems Proficiency in iOS and Android systems Ability to resolve complex issues and conduct root cause analysis Experience in building and maintaining detail oriented relationships Knowledge of Bomgar software Experience in mobile device support, including Intune Familiarity with IP Telephony Knowledge of EO/IR systems.
