We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, within the Corporate Technology, Employee Experience Workforce Tech team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.Job responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

Participate in shift schedule, including late evenings and weekends, to provide 24/7 support of our customers

Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems

Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development

Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems

Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture

Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

Design Develop, and implement scalable software solutions that meet the Human Capital Management needs of the organization.

Develop and maintain integrations between Human Capital Management software applications and other systems, such as Payroll, Benefits and talent management.

Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, software engineers to understand and analyze Human Capital Management system Requirements, code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements of software development processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience

Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Strong understanding of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) processes and systems, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Management.

Experience in debugging the HCM Extracts , BI Reports.

Strong understanding of HCM DBIs and Fast Formulas.

Experience in HCM UI both Classic and Responsive UI

Good understanding on HCM Tables with Assignment, Payroll and payroll relationships.

Hands-on experience supporting HCM integrations , ESS jobs and batch jobs.

Experience with databases Oracle, MYSQL, Cassandra and Scripting knowledge on SQL/PLSQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.

Familiarity with Unix commands and Unix Shell scripting.

Knowledge of integration technologies and protocols, such as REST, SOAP and JSON.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Familiarity with modern front-end technologies

Exposure to Human Resource (HR) applications or functional knowledge of the HR products.

Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization.
