The client is looking for an experienced, skilled, and motivated Sr. Network Engineer to join the team. As Sr. Network Engineer contractor, the selected candidate will be responsible for the overall daily operation, configuration, and troubleshooting distributed infrastructure environment including MS Domain Controller, DNS/DHCP, firewall, network equipment and connectivity, file/printer systems, distributed remote connectivity, wireless network connectivity, mobility, VoIP, video conferencing system and other applied technologies.

This position will function as a highly skilled Sr. Network Engineer that include:
  • Design infrastructure architecture to align with department’s strategic plan, including servers, cloud, wired and wireless networks, mobile connectivity, VoIP, video conferencing system, etc.
  • Architect innovative technical solutions for complex and challenging ODA’s mobility project and other initiatives
  • Participate in the project meeting as technical subject expert; follow industry best practice to provide recommendation of network configuration and connectivity design
  • Optimize network performance and reliability by monitoring, testing, evaluating and analyzing technical issues and ensuring availability and great user experience to internal and external end users
  • Work closely with service providers on system updates, patches, and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and other network related problems and replace defective components as needed
  • Respond to security related activities to maintain network security and data reliability.
  • Maintain technical documentation for existing infrastructure and upcoming initiatives.

Experience:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
  • 10+ years of overall infrastructure architecture design, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
  • 10+ years of Microsoft Domain Controller, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy
  • 10+ years of modern video conferencing solution design and implementation in distributed network environment
  • 10+ years of mobile network connectivity design and configuration
  • Professional Certification in infrastructure, network, and/or mobility is desired


Education:
4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
