AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer to be based in Columbus, OH.This is an entry level position responsible for assisting more experienced staff with the design of major building projects across the United States (projects to have construction costs of up to $750M).  Potential projects come from a wide variety of industry sectors including healthcare, aviation, industrial, parking structures, and higher education.  Structural engineer will work collaboratively with more experienced engineers on large projects while developing the skills to lead/work independently on smaller structural design projects.   The responsibilities of this position include:Perform structural analysis and designCoordinate work with other design disciplines and prepare contract documentsConstruction administrationAuthor structural reports, assessments, and studiesDevelop project management experience such as scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, etc.
