Job SummaryThe Infrastructure, Operations and Support (IOS) organization is responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability and performance of AEP’s Technology systems and network.Leads team of cross functional professionals for a specific period to time to deliver high quality technology solutions to the business. Lead collaboration to create and agree upon plan to deliver a solution to the business, and then baseline the project for ongoing tracking either by scope or functionality. Team will follow the chosen project management methodology and standard work to deliver the solution, continually keeping the project team and stakeholders informed of progress, challenges, and plans to overcome those challenges. The scope of job can range from a program, set of projects or product depending upon assignment. The resources may be managing the entire project or a specific part of the part of the project. Financial management may be of department, program, or projects and include applicable Procurement Management activities.Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions:

Lead analysis, strategy approach, and execution for enterprise level projects across the organization.

Manage a wide array of project types including strategic, proof of concept, upgrades/lifecycles, remediation of findings/vulnerabilities, etc.

Proactively identifyand communicates risks and roadblocks before project impact.

Demonstrate agile behaviors and practices while exhibiting an innovative attitude and an aptitude to embrace change while improving the daily practices and processes of the team.

Manage one or more intermediate or complex projects, within a matrix team environment.

Provide leadership, direction, training, coordination, and effective communication to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects in a safe, efficient, economical, risk-balanced approach to achieve short and long range goals and to obtain maximum customer satisfaction.

Provide project transparency and develop relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders including internal customers, external customers, team members, suppliers, contractors, vendors, and industry peers, enabling them to make sound business decisions.

Enable and promote team level continuous improvement activities that increase quality and optimize delivery of value.

Perform supervisory duties and responsibilities if direct reports are assigned.

May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.

Minimum Requirements:Tech Project Manager Prin (SG9):Education: Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, or related technical field is required.Experience: 7 years of relevant work experience is required.An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.Tech Project Manager Staff (SG10):Education: Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, or related technical field is required.Experience: 10 years of relevant work experience is required.An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.Preferred Requirements:

Proven track-record of successfullymanaging complex work, coordinating across multiple teams, and effectively communicating with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization (including timely escalation of risks/issues)

Excellent skills in analyzing information and data to formulate actionable plan(s) and then managingthe plan(s)to completion

Excellent communication skills and executive presence

including ability to create written communications (such as PowerPoint) that clearly articulate the message and confidently deliver to leaders

Excellent skills inmaintaining project financials including running reports, analyzing financials, communicating financials, creation/maintenance of project estimates, status reports with EAC amounts, etc.

2-3 years of experience managing complex, multi-million dollar projects specifically within Technology and Security

Proven track-record of managing multiple projects simultaneously

Program level experience is a plus

Compensation:

Tech Project Manager Prin (SG9): $110,656.00-$143,853.50

Tech Project Manager Staff (SG10): $129,963.00-$168,952.00
