JOB TITLE: User Experience ResearcherLOCATION: 1111 Polaris Pkwy., Columbus, OH 43240. This position requires up to 30% domestic travel to client sites. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.DUTIES: Drive the development of new research studies based on understanding business strategy and knowledge gaps. Drive product discovery planning, with design and product partners. Go beyond standard 'findings and insights' reports, toward compelling presentations that connect customer needs and ability with business goals. Coach less senior researchers in the shaping of their studies and findings to realize greater impact. Lead cross-functional Design Thinking exercises using research findings as a starting point. Identify UX metrics worth tracking. Prepare and teach introductory training material on experience research, primarily for other user experience practitioners. Work on stakeholder relationships and scope changes throughout research study. Present findings to team members and stakeholders from multi-disciplinary backgrounds.REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, User Experience, Information Architecture or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as User Experience (UX) Researcher, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept aBachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, User Experience, Information Architecture or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as User Experience (UX) Researcher, or related occupation.
