Become a maker of possible with us.Job Group/Grade: H06PCP Level: 3Resume RequiredPosition Summary:Responsible for providing support to Production by safely supplying and removing material to and from the production area while maintaining product identify/traceability/material status and assisting in functional areas of the Warehouse Department. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and standard methodologies, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values.Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining accurate product identification, traceability and material status and accurately:
Transfer product in and out of the Warehouse rack system.
Transport raw, in process, or finished goods materials into and out of the production area. Includes rejected/questionable material, Experimental and Validation materials.
Transport hazardous materials into and out of production areas.
Recycle/remove waste as needed.
Reporting damaged materials as detected.
Maintain complete, accurate and legible records.
Conduct SAP/MES transactions.
Must be able to safely operate electric forklifts (stand up and sit down), electric pallet jacks, slip sheeting equipment and material tuggers.
Must achieve and maintain forklift certification.
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred
Applicants must possess a High School diploma or equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years of manufacturing experience.
Experience:
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Previous SAP and MES experience preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Experience driving a straight truck preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Work effectively on own, or in a team atmosphere – Proficient
Effective Oral/written Communication - Proficient
Independent thinking / Self Driven - Proficient
Decision Making Ability - Proficient
DOT regulation overview - Basic
