Position Type: Seasonal (5-6 days/week)
Schedule: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Season Duration: Immediate start through December 23rd
Compensation: $17/hour base pay plus $3-$7 per hour in gratuity
Benefits: Staff meal provided; no additional benefits outside of gratuity and meal
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Seasonal Hot Side Cook to join our catering kitchen team. This role is critical in managing the timing and flow of hot food preparation, ensuring dishes leave the kitchen perfectly timed, garnished, and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor cooking times and remove hot foods from ovens or heat sources at the correct moment
Garnish and finish hot dishes to presentation standards
Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth and efficient food flow
Maintain organization and cleanliness in the hot side prep area
Assist with general kitchen tasks as needed
Requirements:
Ability to work early mornings (5 AM – 3 PM)
Availability 5-6 days per week throughout the season
Strong attention to timing, detail, and organization
Experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred but not required
Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced setting
