WHO WE ARE:
Epicurean Properties is a premium corporate housing company based here in Columbus, OH. We operate a small portfolio of boutique furnished apartments for flexible month-to-month rental. Our guests expect a 5-star experience, and we love doing whatever it takes to impress them!
WHAT THIS POSITION INVOLVES:
Your mission is to make sure every guest walks into a sparkling clean and lovingly-prepared apartment. You'll be preparing a true "home away from home" for executives and families who are relocating to Columbus or just traveling here for temporary work projects, cancer treatments, etc. Our guests typically stay for 2-3 months. Whenever a guest moves out, you'll be responsible for:
✅ Inspecting the apartment for damaged or missing items
✅ Deep cleaning the apartment all day until it's sparking clean from top to bottom
✅ Washing, drying, and folding linens and towels
✅ Making beds
✅ Setting out special amenities (welcome note, Godiva chocolates, Fiji waters, coffee, tea, etc.)
Imagine a head housekeeper position at a luxury hotel except with more freedom and responsibility and much deeper cleaning involved.
You'll also help us keep supplies organized in our little warehouse, communicate with us about any needed maintenance or repairs, and shop for supplies. On weeks when there aren't many apartments to clean, you will be involved with these tasks and more.
WHAT IS THE PAY/HOURS?
Part-time (2-3 days/week or 16-24 hours/week on average). We can offer some flexibility in terms of which days you work and will coordinate with you 1-2 weeks in advance. We only operate on weekdays and usually have 2-3 apartments to clean per week, so you'll have plenty of time each day to get all the details right without being rushed. Pay starts at $20/hour + bonuses for exceptional performance.
