Job Description: As a Health Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our senior mother, ensuring her safety, comfort, and well-being. This includes assisting with daily living activities, medication management, and providing companionship.
Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medications as prescribed.
Monitor and record vital signs, health conditions, and any changes in behavior.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking, transferring, and exercising.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding her care.
Ensure adherence to care plans and medical recommendations.
Requirements:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
Proven experience as a caregiver or health care provider for seniors.
Strong understanding of elderly care and health safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
