Carpenter (Columbus)

The primary responsibility of the Carpenter involves the preparing and performing of the interior renovation projects. The Carpenter will take direction from the Superintendent and will work directly with MEP laborers, general laborers, and painters.


Performs maintenance, repair, alteration to buildings/equipment/fixtures (i.e. doors, windows, walls, floors, stairways, etc.)

Reading and interpreting blue prints.

Operating equipments

Follow and execute scopes of work with outstanding quality and attention to detail.

Replacing/installing siding

Hanging, taping, and sanding dywall

Windows and door Replacements

Kitchen and bath remodel

Rough and finish carpentry


Flooring including but not limited to, glue down LVT, floating laminate floors, carpet (broadloom and squares), hardwood

Change bulbs and locks.

Help maintain cleanliness of the unit, facility, and grounds.

Must be able to install appliances and furniture.

Maintains awareness of proper safety precautions at all times

Completing the unit turn duties providing a clean finished product in the time frame given.

Ensure the storage areas remain locked when not in use.

Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and proper manner/working order.

Assist with various tasks as directed.

Performs all work with resident satisfaction in mind.



High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of Carpenter/Construction experience required

Troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Basic hand tools.

Reliable and dependable.

Works well with others.

Thorough, neat, and service oriented.

Multi-tenant residential experience preferred.

Travel Requirements:

Regional travel required. Work involves being at the physical construction sites 80-100% of the time. Sites vary across Mid-Atlantic and South region, but initial position in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania regions (subject to change).
