A well-known Manufacturer here in Columbus is looking for a Mixing Machine Operator to come in ASAP and take over their "Night Shift" position. Note: All you really need to qualify for this position is a basic understanding of the manufacturing process. They're going to train whoever's hired for a min of 30-60 days before leaving them on their own, so I advise you to not be concerned by the job description or requirements.
Job Description:
Maintain chemical reactor (mixer) in order to produce desired product
Pour/dump specified amounts of solid materials into blender
Adjust valves to feed liquid & gasses through equipment vessels
Maintain specified temperature, pressure & vacuum levels
Observe chemical reactions, monitor gauges & alarms
Make specific operating adjustments provided by control laboratory
Draw samples of final products for laboratory analysis
Maintain log of gauge readings & shift production
Requirements:
Min of 1 year manufacturing and/or machine operating experience (chemical manufacturing a Plus)
Able to pass a pre-employment Drug Screen & Background Check
Solid math & measuring skills
Able to use various hand tools
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 40lbs
Shift Details:
11pm to 7:30am, Monday thru Friday
(Note: Training must be completed on 1st shift: 7:30am to 3:30pm, Mon-Fri.
Pay Rate:
During Training: $24.85 Per Hour + $1.20 Shift Differential = $26.05 Per Hour
After Training: $29.07 Per Hour + $1.20 Shift Differential = $30.27 Per Hour
(Note: Training will be a min of 30-60 days)
