Job Scope:
The ideal Assistant Shop Supervisor and Administrator has a background of supervising a team of 5+ on his/her own. This is a working Assistant Supervisor role requiring much interaction on the production line and vechile lot as well as working on the line if needed for training and to fill in if an an employee is out.
In general, overseeing operations of intake and QC of vehicles in a high production detailing process in collaboration with the operations of an auto auction and Detil Shop Manager. Daily interaction with customers (auto auction operations management, vehicle coordinators, banks, fleet accounts, rental car companies, finance companies, vehicle remarketing companies) communication, scheduling, payroll, monitors and communicates shift activities, checks and replies to email frequently and consistently, ordering products, tools, chemicals and keeping the shop tidy.
Most importantly, the Assistant Shop Supervisor oversees quality control of each vehicle and ensures proper processes are being followed to meet required customer deadlines and QC standards. Perform other duties as assigned by Shop Manager who travels and will not be on-site daily.
Qualifications
Must be proficient with email, basic spreadsheets, scanning, printing, running reports from operating system (training provided) and using handheld devices to close for work orders
Must be able to take command of the shop operation and employees througout the day every week, consistently.
BAckground check required - We are a second chance employer with limitations required by contract with customers. Each background evaluated individually.
Minimal of 2-years supervisor experience in high production, reconditioning, lot operations, restaurant, commercial cleaning service or similar fast paced production environment preferably within the automotive industry
Operations background preferred
Bilingual preferred but not required
Military experience helpful
Strong aptitude for communication and interaction skills
Strong aptitude for managing and organizing production schedules
Work Schedule:
Monday, Thursday & Friday 7:00am to 4pm, Tuesday 7am to 7pm, and Wednesday 6am to 1pm. 1-2 Saturdays per year if required due to holidays or weather.

Base pay is $40,000 - $42,000 or $769 -$807 per week. Paid weekly. Base Pay to be determined based upon experience
