Masser Metals, an established Central Ohio name in Metals Recycling, is rapidly expanding and seeking a : Motivated, Dynamic, and Highly Energetic (Full-Time) Office Manager to help run our Columbus, Ohio Offices.
Hours : 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)
Job Duties :
Weigh trucks in and out as they enter and leave the scrap yard
Create invoices and purchase orders for outbound and inbound materials
Answer telephone calls in a polite manner, assisting callers when able and / or connecting them with the appropriate parties
Assist with client relationship management and handling all business details with the utmost discretion
Maintain paper tickets as well as digital records; organize and file purchase orders, invoices, and other documents correctly
Schedule pick ups and route drivers
Maintain an office inventory and place order requests for supplies as needed
Receive service requests from clients and record them accurately; schedule trucks and equipment to respond effectively
Assist in the organization, preparation, and documentation of inbound and outbound loads
File, type, and complete a variety of administrative tasks
Assist with basic HR (timesheet maintenance, maintaining employee files, etc.)
Housekeeping duties within the office
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; college preferred but not required
Strong computer skills (experience with the Quickbooks Online required)
Utilize sales software to create electronic purchase orders and invoices
2+ years administrative experience
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Ability to understand and execute directions accurately
Energetic and willing to come up with new ideas to increase efficiency in the office
Excellent attitude and attendance
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 starting rate
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
