Commercial Real Estate Appraiser Assistant position. Typist needed to assist appraiser in preparing commercial appraisal reports.
Duties include going on appraisals, helping with data collection, and typing the commercial appraisal report. The job require attention to detail Casual Work environment, but the job is not casual. I need someone who is very reliable to be part of a two-person team.
You will learn so much the first year, and we get to go into some very cool places, and meet influential people in Columbus. No cigarette smokers. Not even if you smoke "a little".
Looking for someone with an outgoing personality, or someone that just wants to be in front of the computer typing. Reliability is the most important trait that I am looking for.
I have had a few employees (1099 contract employees) over the years and after a few years, left for six figure jobs. I could have someone who just wants to type or someone that wants to become an appraiser (college degree needed to become an appraiser).

Call don't text. You need to deal with people on the phone with this career. Do not apply if you are late to work. We never show up late-ever. But we leave early all the time.
If you want to learn and have a meaningful career this is a good start. You can go into banking, property managment, mortage lending, construction, and many other careers after working with an appraiser for a couple years. There is so much to learn.
It helps if you are "nosey". Lots of snooping around, research, etc. Kind of a nerdy job, but I am not nerdy.
