Apprentice Business to Business Sales Representative
Today is awesome! You showed up to the area you plan to work, made contact with the team, and made note of the priorities to start your day. You’ve got the education to understand what’s to be done… now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and put it into action.
And away you go, store to store, getting leads and making sales. You hop in your car and go to the next shopping center. You’re meeting great people, presenting a worthwhile service, and maybe even doing a little shopping too. The day goes fast, production is occurring, and you’re already looking forward to tomorrow. You wrap up and send a “daily report” text to your sales manager.Your day is your own.
Job Duties:
Work with the team: You stay in contact with your sales manager to make sure everyone’s on the same page. You help each other out if there’s a sales opportunity out of your area. Everyone pitches in because we all have the same responsibility - serve the customer, serve each other.
Develop your expertise: Walk, talk, sell, close. You sell window cleaning to businesses, restaurants, car dealers, etc. - anything retail that has glass. You know that you’re adding a positive experience to our customers lives through the services we offer, in turn giving them more free time and peace of mind to run their businesses. Over time, you gain a growing expertise in the services we offer.
Become a trusted professional: You’ll keep your sales tools neat, clean, and well organized so they’re handy and ready for use at any time. You are VERY detail oriented. You understand the job-scope, sales approach, follow up, pricing, etc. You’ll submit your report daily because you’ll know that this keeps you and everyone informed – from the customer to the sales manager to the team back at the office.
Pathways to advancement: You will start as an Apprentice Business to Business Sales Representative with the goal of stepping into management. Once there, you will be trained to manage a team. Your next goal is to grow with the company looking for additional opportunities to further your career. Our company president started in this exact position. Each pathway to advancement opens doors for more pay. Our sales reps earn an average of 1500to $2000 per week (if above average, expect $2500 per week!) plus bonuses, incentives, and spiffs! This is a
W-2 position.
Job Requirements:
You love to learn: You have a high school diploma or equivalent. You have a cell phone. You don’t need experience to apply here but must be coachable and willing to learn. Most importantly, you have a drive to learn more because you know that it serves everyone – from the customer to the team to yourself. You’ll learn our culture, our mission, customer interaction, how to sell, and get an overview of our entire system and processes.
You’re a tech-savvy people person: You love the challenge you’re posed with and the adventure of making another sale. At the same time, you’re comfortable talking to a storeowner and professionally educating them in what their options are. Service recommendations, technical information, cleaning agents? No problem.
You’re ready to work: You have a driver’s license, a ready-to-work attitude, and a reliable vehicle to work your territory. And no problem handling the physical demands of the job – lots of walking.
You’re a professional: You are clean, neat, and well-groomed in appearance and you understand that professionalism is paramount. You can engage with the customer and make them feel as if they are part of the Squeegee Pros family.
